The Recovery Act invested millions in new projects that are improving our infrastructue, repairing homes, and much more. But it also provided millions in direct benefits for families, students, businesses, investors, and more including more than $288 million in various forms of tax relief. The Texas Water Development Board recently released a new website that allows Texans to track where and how the agency has spent its $326 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Funds. The new website depicts where each project is, shows how much funding each project will receive, and tracks the number of jobs created at each project.

TWDB received $326 million in ARRA funds to fund 25 drinking water and 20 clean water projects across the state that will improve water availability and usage. Many projects emphasize water efficiency, energy efficiency and environmental innovation. As of April 22nd, $11.02 million in drinking water projects and $6.72 in clean water projects have been released, creating 456 jobs.
